See schedule Speakers Our World Class Speakers Prof. Dr. Human Fatemi Group Medical Director, ART Fertility Clinics Prof. Dr. Human M. Fatemi graduated with a M.D. in 1999 at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel” with magna cum laude. In 2005 he won the Pfizer Educational Grands as the best graduate fellow in gynecology in Brussels, Belgium. In 2008 he was recognized as a subspecialist in reproductive medicine and surgery by ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction) and EBCOG (European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynecology). During his training and later on, also as a consultant, he has performed several studies in various fields of gynecology and reproductive medicine, and surgery. He successfully defended his PhD in endocrinology of the luteal phase in stimulated and substituted cycles in 2008 at the Vrije universiteit Brussel”, Belgium. Human M. Fatemi is the author of more than 150 internationally peer-reviewed articles and several book chapters. He held more than 150 invited spoken presentations at international conferences. In 2009, at the age of 35, he received the title of Clinical Professor” from the University of Brussels. Read more Prof. Pasqualino Loi Associate Professor, Universita degli studi di Teramo Prof. Pasqualino Loi started to work on embryos 29 years ago in a small Veterinary Faculty in Sardinia, Italy. He has dedicated a lot of efforts on embryo multiplication during his Ph.D. Prof. Pasqualino Loi then joined Keith Campbell and Ian Wilmut at the Roslin Institute, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, to work on a sheep nuclear transfer project aiming at cell cycle coordination between enucleated oocytes and donor embryonic nuclei. He has jointly delivered many publications such has (Campbell, KHS Loi et al., Reviews of Reproduction, 1996; Campbell KHS, Loi P., Biol Reprod. 1994) and are milestones in nuclear transfer research and prepared the ground for the production of the first sheep cloned from embryonic and next adult cell lines. After his work at Roslin, Prof. Loi continued to work on Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer (SCNT) producing the first ever wild animal by cloning and SCNT still remains his primary research interest. Prof. Loi has in fact demonstrated for the first time that non-living cells can generate offspring upon SCNT, a breakthrough that has prepared the ground for cloning lyophilized cells, till the most recent attempts to clone the mammoth. Read more Dr. Barbara Lawrenz, PhD Specialist Reproductive Medicine and Infertility Scientific Director, ART Fertility Clinics Dr. Barbara Lawrenz obtained her Medical Degree from Germany in 1989 and completed her specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 1995. In 2004, she also gained expertise in Obstetrics and Prenatal Medicine followed by Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Lawrenz is an expert in fertility preservation before cytotoxic therapy in women with malignant diseases and fertility preservation for those undergoing cancer treatment and cancer survivors. She has authored/co-authored 65 pub-med reviewed articles in international journals and additional articles in various prestigious German journals. Dr. Lawrenz was the Head of the IVF Department at Women’s University Hospital Tubingen, Germany, and is an esteemed member of the European Society of Human Reproduction (ESHRE). Read more Dr. Mina Popovic, PhD Researcher, Eugin Mina Popovic received her PhD from Ghent University, Belgium, investigating the impact of chromosomal instability on early human development. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked as a clinical embryologist for over five years, at Genea (previously Sydney IVF) in Sydney, Australia. She is currently a senior researcher within the Eugin Group in Barcelona, involved in projects relating to preimplantation genetic testing, in vitro models of human peri-implantation development and reproductive aging. She is coordinator of the ESHRE Special Interest Group Stem Cells and is passionate about improving patient outcomes through evidence-based ART. Read more Prof. Kazem Nouri Medical Director, TFP Austria Prof. PD. Dr. Kazem Nouri studied medicine at the medical school of Vienna. After completing his training for Turnus (General Medicine/ Family praxis) and residency in OB/GYN (2002) in Wolfsberg and Klagenfurt Hospital, he performed his fellowship at the department of gynecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine of the medical school of Vienne, where he served as Co-Director of the Department of Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine and director of IVF-, fertility surgery-Unit and Fertility preservation program till April 2019. He has published more than 50 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and given more than 700 national and international lectures. He is also the Vice president of the Austrian society for sterility, fertility, and endocrinology. He is the scientific secretory and scientific board member of the Austrian IVF Society. He served from 2017 to 2020 as the Austrian clinical representative in the ESHRE Committee of National Representatives. Since April 2019 he is the medical director of TFP (former VivaNeo) Austria a member of TFP with currently three IVF Centers in Vienna, Wels, and Klagenfurt.He is also the founder of Kinderwunschberatungakademie which provides lectures, meetings, and webinars in the field of reproductive medicine. He is the Scientific Director of S.I.S.Me.R.
